Today, I lost my baby. They performed four surgeries on my 2-day-old baby. I spent 12 Laksh. The doctors lacked experience. Velammal may be a big hospital, but it's not worth it. If I had gone to a government hospital earlier, I could have saved my baby.
Please don't go to this hospital.
[Dr. S.Ilavendiran] is not only knowledgeable but also approachable
I felt comfortable asking questions and discussing my concerns.Response I'm glad to hear about your positive experience.. Approachability and open communication are key to building a strong doctor patient relationship.

"Your genuine concern and support have meant a lot to me. ...
I can't thank you enough for keeping me in good health
All the hospital staffs follow a good protocol and all are friendly and cooperative.
Dr. Ganesh Kumar and other doctors treated my mother very well that helped in her recovery. Overall very good performance.
I am very thankful for the good treatment.
Once again, thanks to all staff for the good response in the hospital.
WORST HOSPITAL EVER. DON'T GO THERE. My family member went through a simple operation in that hospital and ended up having viral infections due to impure and unclean tools used and environment which is dirty insect filled. It's unhygienic. The canteen in the hospital is incredibly selfish and idiotic as they are preventing homemade outside food for patients and compelling to only eat their mediocre food just so they get many sales. A hospital is supposed to be a place of healing, not a place of healing. It's so horrible and stupid. NEVER GOING THERE AGAIN.
We had a great experience at Velammal Hospital, Madurai. We visited for an OP consultation for my dad with Dr. Subbaiyah, and after the consultation, he advised us to undergo some investigations. Since we were travelling from Theni and couldn't return the next day, the entire team was very understanding and helpful.
Even though Dr. Subbaiyah had finished his OP hours, he asked us to wait and took the time to meet us again, which we really appreciate. The operations, ward people and nursing teams were extremely supportive throughout.
A special thanks to Ms. Punitha from the patient care team and Nursing Sister Ms. Bhuvana for their dedicated support. Their help made the whole process smooth and stress-free.
Truly appreciate the care, coordination, and patient-first attitude at Velammal Hospital!
Very poor, worst care, worst service, waste of money, waste of time, money minded persons, I strongly recommend if RAMANA Part - 2 is going to taken, this hospital is a better suitable in all aspects.
I admitted my mother on June 1st week and the staff had taken all medical tests and after 15 days, we voluntarily made discharged with severe infection and again admitted in our native Hospital ICU. Please anyone who is interested to save your family members please don't think for making any admission in Velammal hospital. They are behaving as blood suckers as well as money minded persons. Their trust, care, service is only for their marketing acquisition. Now, after that, nothing is there.
Management should take at-least basic initiative and care with sympathy and empathy, for not to spoil their reputation further and also not to spoil patient mental health and their attenders wealth. (Without option, given one star rating, with hard hearted).
Money minded doctor . especially doctor rajavel ENT department. My FIL admited for throat cancer . initially they said we recover the patient 100% and they done Operation .after operation they said only few days only patient will survive
Doctor and doing business . Very bad experience
Doctor rajavel ENT full focus on money not the patient wellness
I would like to express my appreciation for the care and professionalism shown during surgical experience
The doctors , Dr. GaneshKumar, Dr. Kavitha and Dr. ShanmugaSundaram took the time to explain the procedure and answer all my questions. The Surgery went smoothly and I felt supported throughout the recovery process of my wife
Post Surgery followup was thorough and the concerns were promptly addressed.
Overall, I'm grateful for my wife care & I highly recommend Velammal Hospital, Madurai is to be the best for the treatment
