MEDICAL CARE WHICH SEEMS TO BE PLEASING AT FIRST TURNS OUT TO BE A VERY REGRETFUL EXPERIENCE. Myself Dr. Vijaiy Palaniappan MBBS. I approached this hospital for my father's treatment , who is affected with cholangiocarcinoma. Biliary drainage followed by stenting was planned to reduce jaundice as first line of management. Dept of surgical Gastroenterology, nursing and room services were quite good, EXCEPT for the radiologist DR. MUKUNTHARAJAN who did the procedure. Being said by other doctors that he's the best at what he does, I'm no expert in criticising his skills. He did the procedure upto his best abilities,But he failed to exercise his duty to communicate with me not once but thrice ( I attended my father throughout his hospitalization period of 3 weeks) . Such an expert that I've not even seen his face once. All the information regarding the procedure was told to me the following next days that too by the surgeons only. I hope he knows the meaning of the words PROFESSIONAL ETHICS AND ETIQUETTE. If not, the management should be the one to teach him. Also it takes until night 10 pm for them to discharge the patient. No prior intimation for this hectic process. Very poor hospital management. Will never recommend it to anyone.
