My recent experience at this hospital on 01-08-2025.
1. I was asked to deposit 10,000 in advance for treatment under the general ward, despite the bed charge being 2,500/day. I was not informed why such a large amount was required in advance.
2. It was observed that some senior staff appeared to lack adequate knowledge and expertise in providing the required treatment, which caused concern regarding the quality and safety of patient care."
3. I was compelled by the hospital staff and administration to purchase medicines only from the in-house pharmacy, despite my request to buy from outside. I believe this is against patient rights and violates ethical medical practices.
These actions caused financial pressure and distress during an already difficult time.
Ensure such practices are stopped to protect other patients from exploitation.
