Let me cover everything chronologically. My sister-in-law's husband had a heart attack at a very young age(35), and of course, like every other family, all of us were shocked and really scared. Since they were in Gorakhpur when all of this happened, the doubt of not getting the most appropriate treatment/recommendations was something that drove us crazy. We found Dr. Vivek Gupta on the Apollo 24/7 app, and luckily, he had an online consultation slot available on a Sunday. His credentials were too good for us to even think about any other cardiologist. So, we booked an appointment, and during the online consultation, we provided him with all the information that we had collected and compiled, starting from a few days before the attack until the day my brother-in-law underwent angiography. Dr. Vivek Gupta was so patient and humble during the online consultation that everything eased out naturally. Because he was so adamant to have a word with the patient before making up his mind to recommend anything, we started feeling really positive from that point onwards. We got him connected with the patient through a conference call since all of us were geographically located in different cities at the time of consultation (the patient was in Lucknow). He suggested that we move the patient to Apollo Hospitals, New Delhi, since he believed that the patient was stable and could be medically relocated to a much better hospital. Even before relocating, family members were doubtful since it's approximately a 9-hour travel from Lucknow to Delhi, but Dr. Vivek Gupta was confident that it was safe to move the patient. Acting upon his advice, the very next day, the patient was discharged from the hospital in Lucknow, and our family members hired an ambulance to move him to Apollo Delhi. During his travel, Dr. Vivek Gupta was continuously in touch with me and the patient just to ensure everything was okay. He also reserved a bed in the Cardiac Care Unit at Apollo in advance, even though the ambulance was halfway to the hospital, so that he could move the patient to CCU soon after completing his first in-person physical examination of the patient. He waited for the ambulance to arrive at Apollo until late in the night and personally met the patient at the emergency gate very soon after their arrival at the hospital. He understood and respected our concern that we wanted the patient to be under continuous supervision of the medical staff as soon as we reached Apollo Hospital, New Delhi. The continuous follow-up loop that he initiated was really satisfying to see, and everyone in our family really appreciated his humane gesture. After having him in CCU for 1-2 days, Dr. Vivek Gupta successfully completed the Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA) or minimally AKA Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) or commonly known as angioplasty (patient had 4 blockages, so 4 stents were used), and we were thrilled and delighted to know that he completed the procedure in 45-50 minutes. We regularly had in-person follow-ups, discussions, and calls with Dr. Vivek Gupta regarding my brother-in-law's current condition and recovery, and not even once did we feel that we didn't get enough time/attention from Dr. Vivek Gupta. During those conversations, he maintained a friendly/fatherly relationship and used to keep everyone's mood elevated and cheerful. Finally, after a few days of keeping the patient under observation, he was discharged. I seriously recommend people reach out to him in case they end up in this unfortunate condition where an honest/medically right opinion is needed. I would also recommend people in good overall health visit him in case they have some cardiology-related concerns. Thank you so much, Vivek sir, for being a real-life savior for us. I generally do not write reviews but Dr Vivek Gupta is an exception. I was in Chicago(USA) and my parents were in India thousand of miles apart. My Father unfortunately got severe cardiac arrest and during the tough time Dr Vivek Gupta came as an angel in our life. My Family was very disturbed in the tough time but Doctor Vivek made everything so easy. It was the best gift my family could ever have. I am thankful to God. My father went for operation in 2015 and now he is going good and strong. Now he is like an extended family to us. We can count on him anytime. He is trustworthy and honest. In my first meeting with him I was impressed and understood that he is master in his field. Had a very good experience with Dr. Vivek. He is very farsighted doctor which is a rare quality. He is very friendly and helpful. He played a crucial role in saving my mom's life. My mother got discharged last month after recovering from Covid. We lost all hope as her CT score was 23/25 but with help and guidance of Dr. Vivek, we were able to save her. After getting discharged from hospital, she was complaining heavy chest for which Dr. Vivek suggested angiography. We came to him for angiography after which we came to find out that there's 75-80% blockage after which he suggested angioplasty. Angioplasty went smoothly and my mother was out of procedure room within 15 minutes. Dr. Vivek Gupta is the best cardiologist in Delhi and gem of person. People like him are rare to find these days.

Dr Gupta did an angioplasty on my mom, when other doctors said only bypass was an option, which was high risk given my moms commodities . Dr Gupta gave us hope that angioplasty could be done and we should not worry much, which did ease our fears. The angioplasty was done. Because of her weight there was bleeding at the site where the angioplasty was done (because of her obesity) but she recovered from it. Dr Gupta was present all throughout this time late at night, until her condition stabilized. Only issue I can see with Dr Gupta is that given he is an extremely busy man, things such as appointments etc can have delays.
