Apart from the treatment they are providing to the poor sector at affordable charges is remarkable, they are associated with many charitable organisations through various charitable activities like providing Free education in the field of Nursing, Para Medical, Fashion designing to the Orphans from distant districts of other states of India. I am suffering from COPD since 1983 and taking medicines for it as suggested by my Professor at AIIMS Dr J N Pande Because of poor functional lungs,I had a massive heart attack in January 2008 and had a bypass surgery at NHI 25th February, operated by Dr O P Yadav I was discharged after 5 days and was in position to get back home and to start working after 2 months Today I visited NHI along with my brother Mr G D Mehta ji because I have difficulty in breathing despite taking precautions in polluted Delhi. I was asked to get specific test echocardiography done and not bundles of tests done Excellent Dr Vinod Sharma told me that my breathing problem wasn't due to failing heart but because of weak lungs Honest opinion on my status of cardiac lungs functioning to be remembered!! Dr Vinod Sharma is a very intelligent,compassionate very pleasent and kind doctor,who deals with his patients with lots of care and concern.He is the best cardiologist in delhi and would rate him at the top.He has treated my mother Mrs kamal Mangal,so well that our family have all praises for him.he is in favour of gently listening to his patients and answering each and every doubt for them.He is in favour of best treatment with minimum medication.Dr Sharma is available by appointment in National heart hospital only and no private practice..unlike other Dr's who are running after money only. Dr.Vinod Sharma Is The Best Cardiologist In My Experience,His Diagnose Is Very Very Accurate & Prescribes Minimum Possible Medication,Though His Fees Has Gone Up From 1000 To 1500 But Still It Worth Visiting Dr.Vinod Sharma,God Bless Him Long & Healthy Life

Very egoistic person,working in such baseless hospital where he decline to tell or discuss condition of patients, very bad system in national heart hospital

If you visit this hospital then make sure that you get all the lab tests done at their facility itself that too at double the price. If not, then forget about the good treatment. These people won't even agree to schedule your second visit if you don't get your tests done by them at inflated price.
