Incompetent doctor, faced terrible medical negligence thrice. Very arrogant above it all. 1) Nearly lost my mother due to incorrect diagnosis. Despite having a history of heart disease and early symptoms from age 35, my mother's worsening chest pain, extremely high cholesterol, and blood pressure at age 55 were dismissed by Dr. Roy. He advised against further tests. She insisted and got an angiography on her own -- which revealed 95% blockage in three arteries. If she hadn't pushed for that test, she likely wouldn't have survived. She immediately needed a bypass surgery. This level of negligence from a cardiologist is deeply concerning. 2) Missed diagnosis of cancer despite clear signs for my grandmother. She had years of unexplained coughing, breathlessness, back pain, severe weakness, and appetite loss. Her symptoms were repeatedly brushed off as age-related decline. Only at the very end -- when she was bedridden -- did we discover she had advanced lung cancer. The family trusted Dr. Roy for years, but looking back, too many red flags were missed. Her quality of life and survival time could have been different with early detection. 3) my grandfather, too a patient with high bp with cholesterol and blockages- never advices for stents or surgery which could have prolonged his life significantly. He died to heart failure at 76.
