On 8 November 2024, at Artemis Hospital Gurgaon, Dr. Srivastava performed an aortic valve replacement with open-heart surgery on my father. Throughout my interaction with him over the course of roughly 2 weeks (right from pre-surgical tests to until after my father's discharge), it was evident that he is a highly skilled surgeon. He performed the surgery smoothly, and managed complications (that may arise in a major surgery like this) promptly and with great care. Also important, his communication was always transparent and crisp, and he was extremely professional in his conduct. My father has had a great recovery and is now leading a normal (and new) life. I had severe Aortic Stenosis & Aortic Regurgitation. I was advised Aortic Valve replacement surgery. I contacted Dr Sushant Srivastava, Artemis Hospital. He confirmed need of Aortic valve replacement. Through open heart surgery, Porcine Bioprosthetic Aortic Valve was implanted by him on 8th November. Surgery went smooth and intervening complications were well handled. I was discharged 10th day, I was in excellent condition. Extremely good care was taken of by Dr Sushant and his team. Dr Sushant is a surgeon par excellence, as well as a superb person. Now I am leading a good life and thank him for giving me a new life. I wish all the best to him and his team.

Bula Vinaka and Namaste I arrived into India with my wife on the 15th November 2024, everything for us was a new experience as this was our first time in this part of the world, Gurugram, New Delhi. The 16th November was when I first met this gentleman who turned out to be the man that would be responsible for my heart operation, Dr Sushant Srivastava. With his stern looks Doctor guided me through all the procedures that I would be going through . It was at this moment that I realized that it could be a life or death situation as I had multiple blockages , However with his reassurance of a successful operation I had no hesitation in going ahead with my Heart surgery, the confidence in his voice made me feel relaxed and comfortable. From when I first entered Artemis Hospital I was struck by how clean the hospital was and how quickly we were guided through our pre-op tests through the different departments in OPD. I found the staff to be very friendly and professional and efficient while conducting various tests. The day of the surgery was special as this was my mother's 85th Birthday and she said I was in good hands and God would be guiding the doctors and nurses to heal me. I awoke from my sleep with (ICU) Rajesh Yadlav giving me the thumbs up and wiping my face and telling me in his broken English ,"Very good operation"(No pun intended), if I could hug him I would of but the pain of the surgery started to move all over my upper body. In spite of the pain the nurses on duty did their jobs professionally and made me feel as comfortable as possible and I would like to thank Suwalal, Mohit, Kuldeep, Vinod, Satyendra, Anand, Akash, Rajesh and Sister Bijaya and Sister Pallvi for taking good care of me while under their watch. Also thank the boys that assisted me when using the toilet and being professional about it , RupRam and another who's name i didn't get but i have not forgotten. During my experience I also met Dr Monish(Smiley) and he gave me words of encouragement which lifted my spirit's and then there was Dr Mufti Faisal with his deep voice reassured me that everything would be alright and they were there to take care of me. To Dr Akhil and anyone I may have forgotten to mention please accept this as my appreciation for all you have done . Last but not least a personal gratitude to our coordinator / translator Neeraj Verma for assisting us through our movements through this Advanced Modern Hospital and making sure we met all our appointments which were very smooth and remarkable considering the Doctor's busy schedule's.
