" Experience with my 2-month-old baby's EEG was extremely disappointing. The technician left in the middle of the procedure, and his colleague who took over was unprofessional and rude. Due to this, the EEG was not completed, making the entire process even more frustrating and stressful for both my baby and me. I will complain about this unacceptable experience."

I recently visited Khyber Hospital Srinagar for my grandmother's treatment and was impressed with the staff and doctors. However, I noticed that the washrooms were unhygienic, which was concerning given the hospital's reputation as one of the best private health institutes in Kashmir Valley. I hope that in the future, the hospital will prioritize cleanliness in the washrooms, including providing basic amenities like napkins and handwash. Overall, my experience was positive, and I look forward to seeing improvements in this area.

That is so true I had faced the same problem as I often had to visit there for my grandparent's checkups. Patient care was zero. They need to provide more training to their staff as well as nurses there.

Dr Showkat Shah ( Critical Care Specialist ) is expertise , compassion and dedication are truly commendable . From the moment my father Md.Nizamuddin from Dalgate admitted in Khyber Hospital diagnosed with severe sepsis with septic shock . My father got admitted in ICU on 12th June 2025 till 17th June 2025 he was in ICU ( Bed no - 1) after that shifted to HDU Bed no - H4) from 18th June 2025 onwards till he got discharged today after at 10.30 am . Dr Showkat Shah with his depth of knowledge instilled confidence in me knowing that my father is in right & capable hands . A big thanks to Dr Showkat Shah for his guidance & expertise . I have experienced a significant improvement - Alhamdulillah in my father's health . I am truly grateful for his outstanding care of my father and would highly recommend Dr Showkat Shah to anyone need of a skilled and compassionate Critical Care Specialist . I am exceedingly satisfied with Dr Showkat Shah professionalism & Commitment . At last wanted to express my sincere gratitude to Khyber Hospital for providing such excellent medicare , especially the care my father recieved from Dr. Showkat Shah . This place is not for serving people . They noticed patient by their appearance and make them wait hours , this is private hospital when we think of going to private hospital we expect a better treatment and well sevice in which we don't have to wait for the doctor response when they are free to examine the pain but they have the worst service , crew and mentality .. I recommend you all to please don't go to khyber hospital if you are in pain or any emergency because they don't care and they have a very disrespectful staff .

This is not an Hospital, this is the place where your pockets will dry up. The worst private hospital. They charge 300% more than the average cost. I went for RT-PCR and they said they will charge Rs1600, where the government rate for RT-PCR for private hospital is only Rs 400. The run only after the money. next time i went for the treatment of mom and they charged Rs 200 for an hour for the bed, at-least they should give some free hours. If they will charge for the night stay then that is ok. The Doctor gave the medicine which was only available there and then i bought the same salt and that worked fine. There are many cases like that and i talked with some patients there and they felt same that this hospital charges more than the average cost. Dear Administration of Khyber Hospital, kindly bring this issue in your note and there are many people who come there as a hope and you people have only eye on their pockets. You had a good business now so kindly reduce your rates now.

Me being a doctor myself..my mother had her surgery in this hospital but sad state of affairs..the only concern of hospital administration is how many attendants are in room other than that there is no concern for patient care...nursing is zero...patient operated from orthopaedic side is forced to go to washroom cause no nurse comes and helps patient or attendant with bed pan or basic patient care...u stay in hospital so that patient apart from treatment gets care...nurses other than giving injections only dont know basic nursing care...if u pay a huge amount for surgery then u are made to buy drapes and consumables for theatre then what are they charging for..my mother wanted to have cup of tea in morning they served at 8.30 forgetting that patients may be hungry...had to go from door to door for tea...either allow patient to get their own or serve...if i have to take patient in plaster to bathroom myself then allow another attendant ...my mother was about to fall again...what the charges for room is ...everyone has a bed at home what is needed is care and treatment...nursing care is zero

Very very bad staff i have ever seen please khyber hospital directer firstly change ur reception staff.here one mam doing very attitude with me very poor service
