Dr. Sanjay Kumar is honestly one of the best doctors we've ever met.
Two years ago, my mother had to go through valve replacement surgery at Medanta Hospital in Patna, and Dr. Sanjay Kumar was the one who took care of her. At that time, we were really worried, but the way he spoke to us -- calmly and with so much patience -- gave us a lot of confidence and comfort.
He listened carefully, explained everything clearly, and helped us understand all the treatment options before moving ahead. He's very knowledgeable, and at the same time, very friendly and approachable. To be honest, he felt like a god to us during that difficult time. My mother's surgery went smoothly, and she recovered well -- all thanks to him.
Even now, we're still in touch with him, and he checks in on how she's doing. That kind of care and dedication is really rare these days.

I went to consult Dr. Sanjay Kumar with my father for a second opinion about his bypass surgery at Medanta, Ranchi. Dr. Sanjay Kumar is very polite and knowledgeable, he explained my father's situation in length, the only one thing I did not like there was that he sits in his chamber and patients chair is placed out side the chamber surrounded by other patients and their attendents. I found that setup inappropriate and it was really uneasy to discuss my father's medical condition infront of many strangers. I have seen Medanta, Gurgaon but management at Medanta, Ranchi just the opposite and pathetic.

I was never aware about heart issues being treated in Ranchi so well until we met Dr. Sanjay Kumar in Medanta, Ranchi. My father who needed a valve replacement immediately in November,2017 fell just in the right hands. He also faced some post surgery complications which was again taken care of so well and by God's grace he is doing much better now.
This doctor is not only positive himself, but he also motivates the patient with a pleasing smile and his down to earth nature is what keeps the patient and their family stable.
