I once visited the casualty department due to stomach discomfort and shortness of breath. The doctor attending to me was a woman. When I arrived for treatment, she was deeply engrossed in her phone. She asked about my symptoms, and I explained them to her. Without checking my blood pressure (BP) or oxygen saturation (SpO2), she wrote them down and then instructed me to get an ECG. As I walked to the ECG room, I noticed that my BP and SpO2 levels were already recorded on the sheet. Surprised, I went back to the doctor and questioned her about it. She was still absorbed in her phone. When I pointed out that she hadn't actually measured my BP or SpO2, she casually replied, "Men your age usually have these levels, so I just wrote that." I was stunned--how could a professional doctor be so careless?
