Good evening sir This is Dr.Chandrakant Patil, ENT specialist, currently working at Thumbay hospital Dubai .Sir,you did emergency Lap. Cholecystectomy for my father on 26 .12.2021,who had septic shock secondary to acute cholecystitis. Considering his age of 79 years and co morbidity surgical option was very high Risk , as he was on blood thinners . But Your confidence of handling the case , professional care and touch of humanity to your work was excellent and efficient. That saved my fathers life. This post is in contest to my patient Mr Unde (father in law) age 81 year's a case of CBD dilation due to stricter reported to MGM Hospital to consult Dr Pravin Suryawanshi in September 2019. He was posted for ERCP for relieving the stricter and stent in CBD.MY patient considering his age and know case of ITP With platelet count only around 50k even then the procedure was done uder short GA,it was uneventful.we were advised to come after 6 months for stent removal and laproscopic cholecystectomy ,but due covid situation we didn't report. Now in February 2022 patient had severe colengitis for which we went to MGM Hospital to consult Dr Pravin Suryawanshi. After 2 days antibiotics cover patient was posted for stent removal even with low platelet count, but because of long time stent underwent erosion and broke while removing it.Being a Doctor my himself was witnessing all the facts in OT . patient was posted next day for Laproscopic cholecystectomy with CBD Exploration for stent removal.patient platelet count on the day of surgery was only 25000.so decided to give SDP and patient was posted for surgery. I was in OT with Dr Pravin Suryawanshi sir,to my surprise the procedure of Laproscopic cholecystectomy with CBD EXPLORATION,Stent removal the whole procedure was finished in 1 hour and 27 minutes only uneventfully. As on today patient is free of all complains related to surgery. I am really Thankful to Dr Pravin Suryawanshi sir and his team for the superb work and the service we got in MGM Hospital. Myself being a Gynaecologist specialist new the risk of the surgery considering our patient's age and underlying haematology condition of ITP,but still Dr Pravin gave the confidence,so we could save our patient.
