We got our mother admitted in this hospital on 11.06.2025 in emergency... The staffs behaviour was good. Doctors checked everyday and the amenities provided were up to the mark. Thankyou for helping us.

I'm a relative of a patient recently treated at Vikas Hospital, Panchgachhya, Sambalpur, under the Ayushman Bharat PMJAY scheme. The operation was done successfully, and we're thankful to the doctors and staff for their treatment and support. However, I would like to highlight a few serious issues we faced during the process: 1. Delay in PMJAY Card Activation/KYC: It took us nearly 2-3 hours to get the PMJAY/BSKY card accepted. Although Aadhaar KYC was already done, their system did not detect it at first, causing unnecessary delay, confusion, and stress at a critical moment. 2. Partial Expenses Despite PMJAY: While the main operation was covered under the scheme, we still had to spend around 5000-6000 out of pocket for certain medicines and diagnostic tests. Some more transparency would have helped. 3. Canteen Issues: The canteen is always overcrowded. It's very hard to find a seat, especially for elderly people or attendants. Also, the canteen accepts only cash, which is very inconvenient during emergencies. Digital payment options like UPI or debit/credit card should be available. 4. Attendant Sleeping Arrangements: In the 5th floor general ward, only one person is allowed to stay with the patient. But even that person is not allowed to sleep on the ground with a carpet. The staff instructed us to sleep in an armchair, which is extremely uncomfortable for overnight rest. On the ground floor, during rainy days, the entire area becomes wet, making it impossible for attendants to sleep properly. 5. Follow-Up Advice: We've been told to return after 14 days for stitches removal, which is fine, but no clear instruction was given on whether it's covered under the same scheme. In conclusion, while the treatment under PMJAY was largely helpful and successful, the non-medical support system -- card activation, basic facilities, comfort for family members -- needs serious improvement. I hope the hospital administration considers this feedback to improve future patient experience.

It's a nice hospital,very well respond in all way. Staffs are cooperating. We hope in future people through out Odisha will get more service from Vikash Hospital.

Subject: Serious Concern Regarding Patient Care at Vikash Hospital, Bargarh I want to share a deeply disturbing incident that happened with my grandfather three days ago at Vikash Hospital, Bargarh. Despite charging significant amounts of money, the quality of care was extremely poor. Shockingly, a nurse gave him a tablet to swallow while he was on a ventilator--without offering any water. It's common medical knowledge that patients on ventilators often suffer from dry throats, and such negligence can be dangerous. This kind of irresponsible behavior is unacceptable, especially from a facility that's supposed to care for patients with utmost caution. Unfortunately, we cannot reverse what has happened--my grandfather is gone. But it's important to speak out so others don't suffer the same fate. Please think twice before considering Vikash Hospital, Bargarh.

The hospital services were excellent. The staff were not only professional and knowledgeable but also cooperative and friendly. They made sure that the patient was comfortable and well-informed throughout my stay. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, and the services were efficient. I would highly recommend this hospital to anyone seeking quality healthcare.

Good service but minorly some nurse staff are not good behavior may they are improve their food communication and better behavior with patients and attender

The hospital premises and the room hygiene as per the standard and well maintained. Staffs are very supportive and well behaved. There are bit gaps in communication among Emergency and ward staffs. The admission procedure can be further improved and it can arranged hassle free.
