I recently admitting my daughter to Mehta Hospital in Velappanchavadi for dengue fever, and I must say, the care and attention she received were exceptional. The doctor in charge took special care of her, and the entire team was very supportive and attentive throughout our stay. The room service was good. Thanks to the hospital and the team, my daughter recovered from the fever, and we're grateful for their expertise and compassion. I'd highly recommend Mehta Hospital in Velappanchavadi to anyone looking for quality medical care in Chennai.

Dr. Prabha very kind and explained everything clearly. Nurses and staff were helpful, caring, and always ready to assist. The service was smooth and well-organized. The food was healthy and served on time, with proper attention to nutrition. Overall, I had a good experience and felt well taken care of. We had a great experience with the front office staff at Mehta hospital. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly and professionally. I recently got admitted to Mehta's Hospital under the care of Dr. Pavan (Urologist), and I had a very positive experience. The admission process was smooth, and all the staff were attentive and professional. Special thanks to the nurses who took great care of me during my stay -- they ensured my medications were given on time and supported me throughout. The food provided was healthy and served punctually, which really helped with my recovery. I stayed in Room 114, which was comfortable. The only suggestion I'd like to offer is to improve the restroom cleanliness and maintenance a bit more. Overall, I'm thankful to the team for their excellent care and support. Highly recommend this hospital and Dr. Pavan for urology-related treatment.

We had a truly wonderful experience with Dr. Usha Rani. She is not only highly knowledgeable and experienced, but also incredibly kind and patient. She took the time to explain everything clearly, addressed all our concerns with genuine care, and made us feel completely at ease throughout my visits. Her professionalism and compassionate approach are truly commendable. Morever the staffs nurses in the OP special mention to Ms. Tamil who was very helpful and kind throughout the doctor visits. I would highly recommend Dr. Usha Rani to anyone looking for a trustworthy and dedicated gynecologist at Dr. Mehta Hospital.

Visited Mehta hospital for my baby and should mention about the front desk staffs who were very polite and helpful. They handled everything quickly and guided us through the process. Not a toddler friendly hospital and campus! I took my 11/2-year-old for admission due to severe vomiting. The paediatrician was excellent and skilled, healthcare and the nursing staff expressed more caring--no complaints on that front. However, for little kids, this hospital misses the mark: * Poor mobile connectivity in admission rooms, and the TV is not a smart TV. My child was desperate to watch videos, but when I asked for the guest Wi-Fi password, I was told it only works on one device--and the speed was too slow to stream. * Minimal kid's play area: just one tiny slide in about 8 sq ft--hardly enough for even a small child. No colorful walls, no fun decor, and no toys to engage toddlers. * No formal play space or fun zone tailored for children under 3-4 years. While there are no issues with the paediatric and nursing care, I would strongly recommend parents review this before admitting a young child here. If you really looking for an expert paediatric care, it is much more recommended! Bottom line: What's great: commendable paediatrician, compassionate nursing, quality medical care. What's lacking: poor connectivity, outdated entertainment setup, and a grossly insufficient play area--all crucial for toddlers' comfort and recovery. Suggestion: If you're admitting a child under ~3-4 years, please check with the hospital about room-level Wi-Fi speeds and confirm whether they have a proper play area. Indian hospital guidelines expect one (~30 sq ft per child) near wards--which this location does not meet.

My baby (Baby of Devi) was admitted in the NICU. I want to sincerely thank the entire nursery team for their excellent care and service. The doctors provided good suggestions and overall, the care was very supportive. We stayed for more than 20 days, and while the treatment was good, we faced frequent life-related issues during our stay. I kindly request the hospital management to look into and resolve these recurring problems, so that the overall experience can be even better in the future. Thank you for your care and support.
