Pros: Meenakshi Hospital is one of the leading healthcare facilities in the Thanjavur and Trichy region. (24 hours operating) They have some of the best specialist doctors in their respective fields, like Dr. Prasanna. The hospital got all necessary facilities under one roof, ensuring convenience for patients. Medical full checkup is quite good in this hospital, for what they are offering. The canteen - decent food options. Cons: Always overcrowded, can lead to longer waiting times. The fees are higher compared to other hospitals. Certain departments, such as radiology and scanning, are slower in delivering reports, which is not the case in other hospitals or standalone scanning centers.

Such a rude behaviour from gynecologist nirmala.....she not even give proper advice or medicine for our problem...Unga hospitala ivlo doctors irukanga...ellarumey okay...but women's ku oru proper doctor ilaa....we women face lots of health issues...But oru nalla gynaecologist kuda ila unga hospitala....female radiologist also very rude

I had to take my mom in for an emergency, and from the moment we arrived, everyone was super helpful and kind. The doctors and nurses were really professional and attentive. They diagnosed her quickly and explained everything clearly. Highly recommend this hospital for any emergency situations.

Greetings friends, meenakshi hospital located very near to Thanjavur new bus stand. It is a multi specialty hospital. Doing master check-ups for senior citizens with offer price. Having very good facilities in all means. This hospital is mostly crowded. Specially in pharmacy, you have to wait at least 30 minutes to purchase medicine. Very neat and clean environment. No more medicine smell.

General consultation was good during pre-COVID times. But, most doctors now are not performing their duties professionally. Their ICU services are very pathetic. Avoid tracheostomy if suggested or possibly any surgeries--get a second opinion from a reputed doctor. I've noticed an increase in tracheostomy/unnecessary surgeries cases recently at this hospital. While many of their surgeries are technically successful, the real concern is about the patient's recovery afterward, which remains a big question. Expensive treatment is something different from being made to spend large amounts even for basic care. I'm not sure about their current general consultation quality, but if someone is in a critical condition, I strongly advise avoiding Meenakshi Hospital - Thanjavur Unit.

Admitted last week following a RTA..from time of arrival till discharge wonderful care..Doctors,nurses,and other supportive staffs did good Job....special thanks to Orthopedician Dr.Karthikeyan sir & Dr.Balagurunathan sir and ward staffs..in Recovery mode after surgery..

Now a days my most visiting place. Well equipped laboratory, well educated and experienced doctors, 100% cleanliness, all are talking in a friendly and polite manner. But one thing I noticed that, I also frequently visit madurai branch also. The medications which are prescribed there are not mostly available in here. I don't know why. You are giving good and Branded medicines which are not available in outside medical shops. If you take a note on this I will be happy.

Had a very bad experience, especially the admin team during IP admission and insurance processing. They aren't treating the people in a respecting manner. A few years back this hospital was good,but now they have become money Money minded including the doctors
