I recently received treatment for dengue, and over six days, the hospital charged me around 1 lakh rupees. Despite being in a deluxe room, there was no lift access, so patients had to use the stairs, and the bathroom flush was not functioning. Furthermore, after the hospital learned about my insurance, the bill increased significantly. We weren't informed about the deluxe room charges upfront, which was frustrating.
If you are considering treatment there, I recommend getting written documentation of all costs and available facilities beforehand. Otherwise, you may face unexpected charges when the final bill arrives, leaving you with little recourse.
