A few days ago my father had a second heart attack. In which all three veins of his heart were blocked Due to which his condition was getting worse. Showed in many hospitals But his condition kept getting worse. Then I came to know about Dr. Gauranga Majumdar Sir . We immediately brought our father to Lucknow. I want to share my experience with the medium of this review. Last year i was diagnosed with Bicuspid arotic valve . At that sitition there was no any regurgitation ( Leaky Valve) even there was no any stenosis. I work in Australia, so after 6 month i plan again to visit india to redo 2D Echo as result My arotic valve start leaking , shows blood reversal and LV is severely dilated. Some doctors suggests me that you may wait for surgery but many of them said , Surgery is a good option , i was so confused at that moment. I visited Medanta Medicity Gurugram , took suggestion from CTVS team , i also being to Escort Fortis , Max and Appollo and meet many doctors . But non of the doctors are giving any satisfactory response and all are very busy. Being from Lucknow its not easy for me to visit another state and execute my surgery with my family . Then i got a call from the God ( My senior - Mr Pankaj Pandey) , one of my senior worked with in Medanta Lucknow suggested me not go anywhere and fix Appointment with Dr. Gauranga Majumdar , i meet Dr. Gauranga with my father with the copy of 2d echo. Docotor explains me that u have leaky valve and LV is also dilated , if we postpones the surgery for few months or a year then LV become more dilated and then its difficult to get back on right size. He also say might be that surgery is not to secure your heart , it might be ti secure your life. The most best part Dr. explain us about minimal invasive surgery for AVR . Dr. explains the benifits of minimal invasive procedure, where witout cutting the breastbone surgery can be done . Blood loss and plain is also very less and recovering is very very fast. After discussing with Dr. Gauranga my 100% tension was resolved and i start celebrating before surgery. Then i meet Mr. ARUN SAGAR , he is very nice guy , he help me to explain when and how you can choose the date and get the admission, he did all the paperworks before the surgery. On 28 I got Admitted on floor 8. Hospital management is very active and they start all the formalities like blood sampling, urine Sampling etc . Then one beautiful lady dietitian grab my attention by asking sir would to like veg or non veg. Being a chef this empress me a lot. On 30th morning Dr. Gauranga with his expert team scheduled my surgery around 7:30 in morning . Aftet Surgery, When i got in senses then it was around 12 night . Nurses in ICU ask my name and inform me that my surgery has been successful. They help me to remove my Ventilator and provide me water and juice after few hours. Name of both the nurses in my ICU is Reena Gupta and shanti. After 2 days i was shifted to private at 8th floor room 829. From same day psychotherapy is very much activated and visit more than 5-6 times for my exercise. Ward nurses like Pooja Jaiswal , Sapna and many more they all are super caring . Doctors team visits atleast 3 times a day . Day before my surgery Dr. Pallavi came to ward and explains me all the procedure gonna happen on surgery day , Dr. Manoj is also very Young and dynamic doctor , he is really very serious for their patients. On 30th I undergone AVR surgery and on 5th around 4 pm i was dicharged from the hospital. Whole Medanta team works really awesome. Again, i would like to thanks Dr. Gauranga Majumdar , Dr. Manoj , Dr. Pallavi and whole CTVS TEAM, for exequting such safe and pain less surgery .
