Second week into January 2025 upon having chest pain for a few days my mother (53 Year Old with no prior cardiac issues) was advised to do a coronary angiography in Mumbai, India. We were devasted by her reports which stated she had multiple blockages in her heart along with a large aneurysm which was located at the junction between LAD & D2. The report also stated that my mother has a rare congenital anomaly as her LM (LEFT MAIN ARTERY) was absent. We were advised that doing coronary bypass surgery was the only optimal step going forward and that needed to be done asap as there is always a high risk of rupture involved when there is a large aneurysm present along with other complications.
