I visited this hospital for a basic dressing and a tetanus injection after getting a small cut on my finger. I had clearly informed the receptionist that I would come only if a doctor was available, as I needed both the dressing and the injection within a limited time due to my work-from-home commitments. She assured me the doctor would be there.
Unfortunately, when I arrived, the doctor did not attend. Instead, a mavshi was asked to do the dressing. While both the receptionist and the mavshi were polite, the mavshi clearly lacked proper training in dressing wounds. She didn't know how to handle the finger correctly, causing unnecessary pain during the process.
To make matters worse, I was told after the dressing that I'd have to return again for the injection--completely defeating the purpose of my visit. I had to go to another clinic to get the tetanus shot, wasting both my time and money.
Charging 100 just for a basic dressing without proper medical supervision or a trained nurse is unacceptable. I strongly urge the hospital management to ensure that basic nursing staff are available at all times and that anyone handling patients is properly trained. This experience was disappointing and not up to the standard any patient should expect.
