Excellent job. It was our great experience with Dr AK, who has treated my Auntie for the Stenting procedure, which was ruled out by some of the Doctors and advised for bypass. He was very confident about his ability to carry out this safe procedure, which is very rare nowadays. I am able to see her walk comfortably within two days of the procedure. It was a miracle I stepped in to the ProMed Hospital. On February 3rd evening when I was driving my SUV, I suffered Pulmonary Edema and I couldn't breathe. Immediately I stopped my vehicle in front of my friend's house and we both took an auto ricksha to ProMed hospital which was just one and half kilo meter away from where I my vehicle. I used to cross the hospital atleast twice a day, the hospital had not registered in my mind. It was my Lord the Almighty who guided me to the hospital. When I got admitted in the Emergency, with in thirty minutes they made breathing normal and put me in ICU. Since my case was a complicated one, Dr. Arun Kalyanasundaram decided to do PCI assisted by IMPELLA. It took more than twelve hours to complete the procedure. Through out the Procedure he was assisted by Dr. Anand Manjunath and a very young team. They have given me a second life. I don't know how to react or thank Dr. Arun, Dr. Anand and thier team. Now I am recovering. May God bless them and the Hospital. Thank you ProMed and the Team.

My grandma (73y-Hypertensition-Diabetic) was diagnosed with two severe life-threatening 100% blockages. In various hospitals, bypass surgery was the only option. But we were unsure about bypassing at this age which we thought might be risky afterwards. Then we learned there is an alternative to bypass surgery, and Dr Arun is one of the best doctors to carry out this most critical procedure. He opened both the blockages through angioplasty, and now, she is living her routine with good health and happiness. It was a great joy for our family.
From my personal experience, Dr Arun Kalyanasundaram is "A cardiologist who treats patients cordially." He is one of the best and most highly recommended interventional cardiologists. Also, he provides world-class treatment with an excellent team of doctors, staff and very kind nurses at Promed hospital. But, above all, he made our whole experience very smooth with his down-to-earth attitude towards patients and transparency in procedures.

It was a great experience with Promed and with Dr. Arun Kalyanasundaram. He was very good at explaining things in very layperson terms, which would be more helpful for our elderly mother to understand things easily. He is one of the best cardiologists in Chennai.
