I am extremely disappointed with the standards of cleanliness and patient care at Fortis Hospital. Despite being a reputed name in healthcare, the condition of the facility was far from acceptable. The patient rooms and common areas were not maintained properly--dusty surfaces, overflowing bins, and unclean restrooms were a constant issue.
Even more concerning was the lack of attention and empathy from the nursing and support staff. Response times were slow, and basic care seemed to be neglected unless repeatedly requested. Communication between departments was poor, leading to confusion and unnecessary delays in treatment.
For a hospital that charges premium rates, the level of hygiene and patient service was unacceptable. I hope the management takes immediate steps to address these serious lapses, as patients deserve a safe and compassionate environment.
Such a pathetic management.
You take prior appointment, pay advance amount as per their policy, then wait for 45 mins with no seats, proper management of queue, arguing with people keeps on meeting doctors by just seeing report.
Even the coordinator is clueless and voiceless who just keeps on letting people wait.
You come with baby and come on time and then this is how patients at Fortis are Treated.
Hell off the service and management.
They are all private companies running taking FEES like anything and on the name of service, you get 0.
Good hospital services are nyc by staff and doctors.... Food and soft drinks are been provide on time for patience. Neat and clean... change everyday dress for Neat and clean
They will charge you like expensive 5 star Hospitals but their washrooms are worse than government hospitals, they dirty a few things are broken and they smell nasty. If a healthy person will use these toilets then they themselves might get infected. Not the type of service you expect from such a branded hospital which is very expensive. The staff tries to be supportive but their seniors don't care about the issue. You really need to improve Fortis hospital otherwise you can make thousands of people sick. The washrooms are just pathetic. They smell really really nasty.
I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Fortis Hospital, Noida, for providing the best possible treatment to my son. From the moment we entered the hospital, we were met with professionalism, compassion, and unwavering support from every member of the staff.
The doctors were extremely knowledgeable and attentive, ensuring that my son received the right diagnosis and timely treatment. Their expertise and dedication made a real difference in his recovery. The nursing staff and support teams were equally remarkable--always available, kind, and reassuring throughout our stay.
A special thank you to the entire team for their cooperative and caring behaviour, which brought comfort to us during a stressful time. Fortis Hospital truly lives up to its reputation for excellence in healthcare. We are forever thankful!
Highly recommended for anyone looking for world-class medical care with a human touch
I had a smooth and reassuring experience both during my father's admission and his follow-up visit. The entire team--including doctors, nurses, and attendants--provided exceptional care and attention throughout. Their professionalism and compassion truly made a difference in his recovery.
Recently had to take my father to Fortis, Noida for tapping purpose and the entire experience was quite good. Doctors were very knowledgeable and helpful and took care of everything. Special thanks to Akhilesh ji who was very helpful throughout the process. He ensured that I and my father is worry free about the whole procedure which he performed with utmost sincerity.
Detailed Review of Fortis Hospital, Noida
I am writing this review based on a recent and deeply disappointing experience with Fortis Hospital, Noida, where I had admitted my father for treatment. While the hospital promotes itself as a premium, world-class healthcare facility, our actual experience was frustrating, stressful, and disheartening -- primarily due to administrative negligence and lack of patient support, not the doctors.
Doctors: Capable but Trapped in a Failing System
Let me begin by acknowledging Dr. Rahul Gupta and Dr. Anuja Porwal, who are extremely well-qualified, polite, and professional. They handled the case responsibly and respectfully. However, even the best doctors cannot do much if they are surrounded by a system that fails both the patients and the doctors.
Administrative Nightmare
Once the treatment process began, things rapidly deteriorated:
No Guidance or Support for Patient Movement:
As a family member, I had to physically move my father around the hospital for various tests (e.g., USG) because staff were clueless about where departments were. Imagine pushing a sick patient around, asking for directions, while no one steps up to help.
Medicine Stopped Over Minor Pending Amounts:
After paying 2,00,000, hospital services and even medicines were withheld because our pending amount crossed 50,000 -- something we were never informed about at the time of admission. They stopped even a 51 medicine, without notifying the doctors or informing us in advance. This happened mid-treatment, which is both inhumane and dangerous.
Financial Counsellor Controlling Medication:
What's worse -- medication was delayed until it was approved by a financial counsellor, who had no medical background or understanding of the urgency. Medical professionals were bypassed, and treatment was dictated by someone who couldn't even understand the risk of delaying medicines.
Lack of Communication:
No one explained why medicines were being stopped or why delays were happening. Only after repeated questioning were we told that our dues had exceeded 50,000. Such lack of transparency in a medical crisis is unacceptable.
An Emotionally & Physically Draining Experience
Hospitals should be places of healing, care, and trust. Fortis Noida felt more like a corporate billing centre, where the focus was more on financial clearance than patient recovery. The system prioritizes paperwork over people and leaves families struggling for clarity and help during critical moments.
Final Thoughts
While Fortis Noida might have good doctors, the hospital's administration is grossly inefficient, poorly coordinated, and shockingly insensitive. If you're a cash-paying patient, be prepared to fight for even basic services if your dues go even slightly above the limit -- regardless of how much you've already paid.
I would urge the hospital management and higher authorities to take urgent corrective measures before more patients go through what we did. This experience has left us emotionally exhausted and filled with regret for choosing this facility.
If you're considering Fortis Noida, be extremely cautious and try to ensure that all financial terms are crystal clear from day one -- because once you're inside, the system won't support you when you need it most.
