Disappointed with S.K. Memorial Hospital, Dehradun. I am a serving CAPF personnel and holder of the CAPF Ayushman card, meant to provide cashless medical services. I visited S.K. Memorial Hospital, Dehradun, for an orthopaedic OPD consultation under this scheme, as the hospital is officially empanelled. To my shock, the hospital staff flatly denied treatment under the CAPF Ayushman scheme, falsely claiming that no hospital in Dehradun accepts it. They even asked me to personally request the doctor for treatment an insult to every soldier who serves this nation with dignity. In contrast, Krishna Medical Center in the same city honoured the scheme at CGHS rates without any issue. This proves that the scheme is valid and respected elsewhere, just not at S.K. Memorial. Such denial of rightful treatment is shameful and unacceptable for the CAPF personals at S K memorial hospital. I urge the hospital management to correct this immediately or get de-empanelled to avoid misleading other CAPF personnel. We protect the nation. The least we deserve is respect and rightful care.

I am very very thankful to Dr. Ajay Kumar and the whole staff at SKM for taking prompt action towards my mother's perforated appendix operation.
