Dr. Uttam Kumar Saha - Cardiologist in Kolkata

Dr. Uttam Kumar Saha is the best cardiologist I have ever seen. He is a very humble and well-mannered person with excellent behavior. He takes great care of his patients. You can consult him without any hesitation. His staff members are also very helpful.

My father was undergoing a CRTD implant procedure under mentioned doctor.Every thing was ok as per doctor's version after angio was completed in the morning.He met us and said things are OK and he will do the implant procedure at 12:30pm. He was also planning a Stent implant in a couple of days post recovery of CRTD procedure. During the procedure my father's BP started falling and never reached the desired level.We LOST OUR FATHER and TRUST and FAITH. We are still hovering in complete darkness.... The man who had himself signed consent form for the procedure the previous evening was NO MORE ... Only doctor's Conscience can decide if the rating should be FIVE STAR OR ONE STAR.

My mother got admitted in AMRI under Dr. Uttam Kumar Saha complaining high blood pressure on 30th April 2024 at 2 AM. Her ECG and ECHO reports are clear but doctor suggested Angiography further though her pressure got normal. When we crossed question to him he said angiography is not mandatory and discharge my mother same day 30th april 4pm and the billing amount was around 30k. After discharge we gave the medicines prescribed by him and pressure got fall rapidly 80/50. And local doctor suggested us immediately stop all medications. When we call dr. Uttam and inform the incident he didn't brother and suggest us check with local medicine doctor. How irresponsible a doctor can be. I was speechless and disconnect the call. I would request all don't visit this kind of money minded doctor at all.

This being is a shame on mankind and is not worth to be called a doctor. My mother has faced repeated pacemaker infections and was referred to him by Dr Arijit Datta who has operated on my mother previously. This being directly told my mother that we will take out the CRT-D as you have already survived for 10 years with CRT-D and said in Bengali 'Ar koto din bachben' (how many more years do you want to live) and that too in front of my father who is 68 years old. I wasn't present on that day else I would have shown him the consequences.

Worst Cardiology doctor he almost killed me he did all the the wrong treatment in AMRI hospital worst Doctor if my parents didn't took me to Bangalore I would never understand how wrong treatment Dr. Uttam Kumar Saha has done to me.

Sir is highly experienced and of very humble nature. He is the pioneer of radial angioplasty in West Bengal.
