My father had emergency angioplasty and following week a bypass in 2017, This doctor helped us to save his life then... thanks he made our father to live 7 years more... We were consulting him... since long time, finally last year we asked him wether my father is fit to fly , he said my father is fit to fly.... but he did not give any written document. I request doctor whoever pls educate us about airpressure, max hours a heart fail person shud take 1 flight, chances of getting virus, vaccinations to ne taken by cardiac risk patients , highrisk group all theese things everyone are not so intelligent.. They believe doctor will fully guide them If one can't explain due to time crunch each n everything.... Please make a checklist of do's and dont's and we can read and understand... it's most important .... post long flight my father suffered bronchitis, long flight problems what not.... Please take 2nd opinions... Although doctor is intelligent... For more accuracy and better understanding Take ur own knowledge from any youtube channels or talk to other people... Understand which specialist need for which heart condition.... There r multiple heart conditions Which have to be dealt by particular specialists as they will be more accurate... for example Heart failure specialist Vascular surgeon Cardiac elctrophysicist Heart valve specialist Etc... However my father is gone... In my city too in smaller hospital They ignored us... doctor did not give bipap machine even Despite of multiple requests... 5 days without oxygen in sleepapnea my father succumbed to cardiac arrest as long flight made his heart more weaker... Since I was not aware of all these things Later after seeing multiple youtube videos from some Cardiologists all over world and india I understood about flying care accuracies a patient shud undertake.... People pls educate yourself as much as possible Don't just rely on doctors words itslef Doctor can't explain u each n everything do ur own research as well... Normal people shud be equipped with their own knowledge as extra accuracy.. Else death is very easy to come.. especially when vital organs involved Accuracy matters... Long flights more than 4 hours is lethal for a cardiac patient, flu season, 100 times a patient is likely to get virus in such high altitude... Hope this accurate most important thing helps others...

Dr. Naveen has been a blessing for me and my family. We had to rush my mom to an emergency situation to columbia Asia Whitefield. Her condition was serious with very very low heart rate being observed. Dr. Naveen treated her with ease and after due investigation recommended a pacemaker to be implanted.
